At TopGear Tuning Midlands, we offer a fully mobile tuning service. With our professional tools, this means we can offer tuning on most makes and models. We offer lots of different file options, please enquire directly with us to see what we can do for your vehicle.

As a customer, you can also choose a 12 or 24-month warranty with our remapping software. We are that confident in our calibrations that we will warrant the work (T&Cs apply).

REMAPPING TOOLS

We only use the most up to date, professional ECU calibration tools. We have access to Alientech, Autotuner and many more.

We also have access to advanced diagnostics. Onboard our mobile van is also a state-of-the-art hydroflow machine which helps break down carbon deposits and makes the vehicle run more efficiently.

WHAT IS ECU REMAPPING?

The practice of remapping is to first read the ECU’s processor of a vehicle’s standard map and then adjust various parameters within that map.

ECU programming will improve power and torque figures, increase throttle response and widen the power-band, resulting in a more flexible engine and a much sharper drive.

Another major benefit of remapping is a reduction in fuel consumption. Extra torque at the bottom of the rev range requires less throttle input on acceleration and when maintaining steady speeds. The vehicle can also be driven in a higher gear at slower speeds, thus reducing revs, and this also applies to driving when fully loaded, towing or driving through elevation changes.

At the HQ of TopGear Tuning, software is developed on the dyno to ensure the calibration being flashed to your ECU is of the utmost quality. The software is developed extensively using vehicle data logs and live time data.
